How much does it cost to run a swim spa?

Most owners report $50-$150 per month in electricity, depending on climate, set temperature, insulation quality, and how often the cover is off. Running at swim temperatures (80-88F) costs noticeably less than hot tub temperatures.

Can you use a swim spa in winter?

Yes. A well-insulated swim spa is designed for year-round use in freezing climates, and many owners consider winter the main reason they chose one over a pool. Keep the unit heated and running rather than shutting it down.
